Saudi and Kuwaiti Interior Ministers Strengthen Security Cooperation

Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have reaffirmed their commitment to deepen security collaboration, focusing on the adoption of modern technologies and systems. Saudi Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif met in Kuwait with Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

The discussions centered on bilateral cooperation in combating organized crime, enhancing border security, boosting training programs, and developing human capacities. Both sides highlighted the importance of information exchange and advanced technologies to safeguard regional stability.

The ministers praised the ongoing work of the Military and Security Coordination Committee under the Saudi-Kuwaiti Coordination Council, underscoring their intent to align efforts with the aspirations of their leaderships. Senior officials from both countries attended the meeting.
