TRASSIR Showcases AI-Driven Safety Compliance Deployment at UAE Industrial Facility

A new case study from TRASSIR shows how AI-powered video analytics can help industrial facilities in the UAE improve workplace safety, monitor restricted areas and reduce reliance on manual supervision

A UAE-based industrial facility has deployed an AI-driven video surveillance and analytics system to strengthen safety compliance, staff monitoring and access control across its production and warehouse areas, according to TRASSIR.

TRASSIR said the project was delivered for an international manufacturer of power equipment operating across the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The client’s UAE site needed a more advanced approach to monitoring workforce discipline and safety compliance in high-risk zones where uniforms and protective equipment are mandatory.

According to TRASSIR, the new deployment combines its video management system with several AI-based analytics modules, including face recognition for authorised personnel detection, wear and hard-hat detection for worker compliance, and fire and smoke detection for early hazard identification. The goal was to automate checks on whether staff entering production and warehouse areas were both authorised and properly equipped.

TRASSIR said the system was fine-tuned during a four-month pilot phase before full deployment. The rollout was carried out with a regional system integrator and adapted to operational requirements such as night-shift work and system configuration challenges.

The company said the result was a higher level of operational visibility and accountability, with automated alerts enabling faster responses to violations and incidents. TRASSIR added that the system also provides historical data and reporting tools that can support investigations, identify recurring patterns and improve overall plant security.

For the regional security market, the project highlights how AI video analytics are increasingly being positioned not only for surveillance, but also for industrial safety, compliance enforcement and restricted-area management in demanding operational environments.
