Suprema Launches BioStation 3 Max as Flagship AI Biometric Terminal
Suprema has launched BioStation 3 Max, its new flagship AI biometric terminal for identity-first access control in high-security and high-traffic environments
The device combines facial and fingerprint recognition, RFID, mobile credentials, QR codes and PIN authentication on one platform. Powered by Suprema’s latest AI engine and a dedicated neural processing unit, it can authenticate faces in under 0.3 seconds and supports up to 100,000 users.
Suprema says BioStation 3 Max includes dual visual and infrared cameras for liveness detection and anti-spoofing, while Secure Boot, a CC EAL6+ certified secure element, encryption, and TLS help protect credentials, biometric templates, and communication.
The terminal also features a 7-inch touchscreen, a built-in VoIP intercom, IP65 and IK06 protection, and support for wall-mounted and speed-gate installations. PoE+ is available on select models.
“It is particularly meaningful that major international clients with stringent security requirements have recognized the accuracy and reliability of BioStation 3 and adopted it in real-world projects,” said Hanchul Kim, CEO of Suprema Inc.
The product was first presented at Intersec 2026 and is positioned as Suprema’s successor to FaceStation F2.
