RMS Integrates Salto Smart Access to Streamline Hotel Entry and Key Management
RMS has launched a new integration with Salto Systems designed to simplify access management and reduce friction in the guest arrival experience, according to industry coverage of the announcement
The integration connects RMS with Salto KS (Keys as a Service), enabling operators to issue and manage digital mobile keys directly from the reservation screen within the RMS platform. The companies said the approach is intended to reduce administrative complexity and minimise errors that can arise when staff juggle multiple disconnected systems.
For guests, the setup supports smartphone-based entry via the Salto mobile app, allowing them to unlock rooms without a manual key handover. On the operations side, staff can also manage access permissions for shared facilities such as gyms, pools and parking areas, with access activity and logs handled in real time inside RMS.
Commenting on the rollout, Adam Seskis said embedding smart, secure access into the property management workflow helps operators deliver a smoother arrival experience while strengthening on-site security. Michael Cianfaglione added that the integration extends Salto’s real-time visibility and access-control capabilities directly into hospitality workflows to support more connected guest experiences.
