Advanced Lands Three 2026 FSM Awards Shortlists

The fire safety manufacturer has been shortlisted in three categories at the 2026 Fire & Security Matters Awards, with the nominations highlighting product innovation, customer support, and sustainability progress

Advanced has been shortlisted in three categories at the 2026 Fire & Security Matters Awards, according to the company’s announcement. The nominations cover Fire Safety Manufacturer of the Year, Fire Innovation of the Year and ESG Company of the Year for businesses with turnover above £10 million.

As reported by Advanced, the Fire Innovation of the Year nomination is tied to SmokeGo, its smoke control solution designed to integrate with fire systems and reduce setup time through matrix-based programming. The company said the product has already seen rapid market adoption across commercial and education projects.

The Fire Safety Manufacturer of the Year shortlisting also reflects what Advanced described as strong uptake of SmokeGo, continued investment in training and CPD, and support delivered by its technical support and customer service teams. The company said the recognition points to its broader effort to make fire safety systems easier to specify, install and maintain without compromising compliance or performance.

In the ESG category, Advanced said it was recognised for embedding sustainability and responsible practices across its operations and supply chain. Among the milestones cited were what the company described as an industry-first Environmental Product Declaration for its MxPro 5 and Axis EN four-loop panels, alongside supply chain governance measures.

The winners are due to be announced on 2 July at the Coventry Building Society Arena. For the wider fire safety market, the shortlisting underlines how product innovation, installer support and ESG credentials are increasingly becoming part of the competitive equation for manufacturers seeking to strengthen their position in the sector.
