Dahua expands WITHS wireless surveillance in GCC
Dahua Technology is expanding its WITHS wireless video security portfolio, targeting SMEs and sites where conventional wired surveillance can be difficult or costly to deploy.
Dahua Technology is expanding its WITHS wireless surveillance portfolio, positioning the platform for broader professional security use across small and medium-sized businesses.
The company first introduced WITHS to the GCC and wider MENA market in August. The range targets retail, offices, warehouses, restaurants, residential properties and remote sites.
WITHS combines Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity with AI analytics and off-grid deployment options for SMEs and remote sites.
Wireless surveillance for harder-to-wire sites
The portfolio includes indoor and outdoor cameras as well as 4G-enabled models.
Selected configurations support solar power and onboard storage. As a result, they can operate at construction sites, temporary installations and other locations with limited network or power access.
Dahua said wireless installation can also reduce reliance on extensive cabling and simplify deployment across smaller commercial sites.
Moving toward professional security
The company is now positioning WITHS beyond basic wireless monitoring.
In a September update, Dahua described the expanded portfolio as a step toward more professional and enterprise-grade wireless video security. The range combines wireless connectivity with AI-based person and object detection, low-light imaging and remote management.
The portfolio also integrates with Dahua’s DMSS mobile application and supports centralized management through network video recorders.
For GCC users, the combination of 4G connectivity, solar options and wireless installation broadens the range of sites where video surveillance can be deployed without conventional network infrastructure.
