Delinea Integrates Cyera to Strengthen AI Identity Security

Delinea has announced a new integration with AI security platform Cyera. Together, the two companies combine privileged identity management with sensitive data exposure intelligence to help organizations prioritize identity risks based on the sensitivity of the data involved.

The integration connects Delinea’s identity security platform with Cyera’s Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) solution through an API. According to the companies, security teams can automatically correlate human, machine, and AI identities with sensitive data across cloud and on-premises environments, creating a unified view of identity and data risk.

As organizations deploy more AI agents alongside human and machine identities, determining which privileged accounts have access to critical information has become increasingly challenging. The new integration is designed to improve risk prioritization by increasing the risk score of identities that can access highly sensitive or mission-critical data.

According to Chris Kelly, President of Delinea, organizations need greater visibility into both identity and data risks as the number of human, machine, and AI identities continues to expand, allowing security teams to prioritize threats more effectively.

Organizations cannot afford to manage access risk in one tool and data risk in another and hope someone connects the dots.

According to the companies, the combined solution enables organizations to focus remediation efforts on privileged accounts with the greatest potential business impact, reduce alert fatigue by prioritizing genuine high-risk exposures, and provide a consolidated view of identity and data security.

Cyera continuously discovers and classifies sensitive data across enterprise environments, while Delinea uses that information to support risk-based access reviews and least-privilege enforcement. The companies say the integration helps security teams respond more effectively as AI-driven identities become an increasingly important part of enterprise IT environments.
