SECON and eGISEC Cement Status as Asia’s Leading Security Event
With 410 exhibitors from 15 countries showcasing solutions to over 25,800 industry professionals, SECON and eGISEC 2025 marked a record-breaking edition. The event featured 116 conference sessions, hosted more than 110 international buyers, and organized over 530 business matching meetings.
Celebrating its 24th edition, SECON & eGISEC has reinforced its position as Asia’s largest integrated security exhibition where the latest technologies and trends in the global security industry can be explored. The 2025 edition offered a well-rounded view of both physical and cyber security trends, including Video Surveillance, Cyber Security, Access Control, AI Security, Industrial Security & OT Security, Social Security Systems, Homeland Security, and Smart City Security Solutions. This year, 410 companies from 15 countries and regions—including the United States, China, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand—participated in the event. A total of 25,805 visitors from 35 countries attended, illustrating its growing global impact.
A Celebration of AI-Driven Innovations in Security
The megatrend of SECON & eGISEC 2025 was “A New Security Paradigm Powered by AI.” In today’s evolving security landscape, AI has moved beyond being an add-on capability—it now serves as a foundational element, enhancing operational efficiency and enabling autonomous threat response systems. In parallel, at SECON 2025, key highlights included advanced AI video analytics, multimodal biometric authentication combining facial, iris, and fingerprint recognition, and emerging technologies for aviation and public safety. Meanwhile, eGISEC 2025 spotlighted AI-powered innovations such as Zero Trust architecture, fault diagnostics, and real-time monitoring solutions, which drew strong interest from industry professionals.
Innovative Security Solutions Utilizing AI and Video Analytics
Taking a closer look at these trends, SECON 2025 showcased video security solutions designed to meet the specific needs of industrial environments, leveraging not only AI-driven high-definition video analytics, but also high-performance sensors, real-time privacy protection, and behavioral analysis. Hanwha Vision introduced the ‘AI BOX,’ which enables AI analysis capabilities to be applied to standard cameras and enhanced industrial security with its Dynamic Privacy Masking (DPM) technology, which automatically applies mosaic masking according to worker safety standards. IDIS presented the ‘NOVA Line’ CCTV, equipped with a 1-inch image sensor and optical zoom, and offered a solution capable of real-time responses to various situations such as crowd monitoring, organic matter detection, and violent incidents, using on-device AI analysis.
AI video analytics-based solutions featuring real-time situational awareness and automated surveillance technologies were also noteworthy. Solutions integrating generative AI, edge computing, and MLOps demonstrated their applicability across various settings, including industrial, urban, and public safety environments. For example, IntelliVIX demonstrated ‘Gen AMS’, a solution in which generative AI automatically creates surveillance logs, highlighting the potential of AI-driven surveillance automation. iNNODEP showcased its machine learning operations (MLOps) model used to implement auto-labelling technology, emphasizing its efficiency in large-scale video analytics scenarios. Finally, Verkada introduced a line detection and video-based disaster recognition solution, optimized for rapid and effective emergency response.
Lastly, the convergence of video surveillance and access control—along with AI, robotics, and aviation security automation—greatly advanced the scalability and sophistication of security infrastructure. Highlights included Suprema’s ‘BioStar X’, a solution that integrates AI-based access control with video analytics, drawing attention for its RTS system, which automates product delivery following facial recognition. Deepnoid showcased ‘SkyMaruSecurity’, its aviation security solution that leverages AI and real-time X-ray image analysis to rapidly detect 20 types of prohibited items, significantly enhancing screening efficiency.
Zero Trust, and Integrated Security Architectures
At eGISEC 2025, key trends included AI-powered cybersecurity technologies, personal data protection systems, and Zero Trust architecture. Moving beyond traditional perimeter-based models, the industry is increasingly adopting behavioral anomaly detection and integrated authentication frameworks as the new standard. Notable examples include: AhnLab introduced ‘AhnLab XDR’, a cloud-based platform that uses AI to detect and respond to threats across internal systems. Featuring machine learning-based anomaly detection, the platform is also set to incorporate an LLM-powered AI assistant to support log analysis and response. Weeds Korea showcased ‘Weeds BlackBox Suite’, an all-in-one personal data protection system that spans access log generation and real-time anomaly detection. It leverages proprietary AI models to deliver customized security solutions. Pribit Technology presented ‘PacketGo ZTNA’, a Zero Trust access control platform that addresses the shortcomings of traditional authentication by applying a data flow ID model for unified access control across all network layers.
Leading global companies also drew attention with solutions aimed at building integrated security infrastructures. These solutions enable threat detection and prevention across user authentication, network devices, and industrial sites, while establishing seamless security coordination between systems. BeyondTrust displayed its Zero Trust-based cybersecurity strategy, focusing on identity-centric solutions such as privilege management, remote access control, and password protection—effectively reducing the attack surface for identity-related threats. Axiomtek exhibited high-performance embedded systems and network security appliances tailored for industrial and IIoT environments, offering a robust hardware foundation for the convergence of smart factories and cybersecurity.
Empowering International Partnerships
At SECON 2025, UNIDO ITPO Korea successfully hosted its own booth to support the global expansion of Korean companies, facilitating engagement between 39 government officials from 24 developing countries and the Korean security industry. Through B2G consultation sessions and online B2B meetings with Ethiopian companies, the program fostered meaningful discussions on market access, business opportunities, and international collaboration. A total of 50 business meetings were held, with participants from both public and private sectors expressing strong appreciation for the valuable insights and networking opportunities provided.
Hosted Buyers & Delegates Program: 531+ Business Meetings
Total 110+ buyers and delegates from 11 countries, including the USA, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, and others, were officially selected and invited to SECON & eGISEC 2025. The Organiser tailored business matching program between the hosted buyers & delegates with 150+ exhibitors, resulting in 540+ meetings and consultation amount of more than US$ 79m in total.

Various conferences were held on topics such as the e-Government Information Security Conference, 2025 Trend of Industrial Security, Integrated CCTV Control, Aviation Security, Counter-Terrorism, Physical Security Certification and Integration Technologies, Technology, On-device based open video security platform technology and more.
Among them, the Security World Conference 2025 stood out as a highlight for international visitors. In the field of physical security, CEO of NTEK DEVICE KOREA, gave an in-depth presentation on the current state of the video security SoC market. In the cyber security domain, a researcher at the KAIST Cyber Security Research Center, and representatives from TikTok and VinCSS (Vietnam) offered valuable insights into PC and mobile security and IoT device protection.

SECON & eGISEC 2026 will take place from March 18 to 20, 2026, at KINTEX, Korea. The upcoming edition is expected to span over 30,000 m² of exhibition space, bringing together 400+ leading exhibitors, 30,000+ professional visitors, and 100+ high-level conferences and seminars. As emerging technologies such as AI, edge computing, quantum computing, and automation continue to advance, the security industry is undergoing a rapid transformation.
