Motorola Solutions Demonstrates the Power of Human and AI Collaboration
Intersec Dubai 2026
Amplifying human capabilities with AI plays a crucial role in sectors vital to the Middle East’s regional economy, such as oil and gas and healthcare. At Intersec Dubai, Motorola Solutions will showcase how its latest AI innovations empower human decision-makers to move from reactive incident detection to proactive management and response.

Among the AI innovations Motorola Solutions will present is Avigilon Visual Alerts, a new on-premise generative AI solution that uses intuitive natural language processing to significantly expand the range of visual events detectable across large networks of cameras, doors, and sensors. By enabling security teams to create custom alerts such as “liquid spill in the warehouse” or “blocked fire exit,” the solution scans connected systems in real time to notify operational and security staff, allowing them to quickly triage and respond. With real-time, AI-powered detections, the solution enhances safety, security, and compliance by alerting workers to hazards, quickly identifying patient falls, and continuously monitoring restricted areas.
Avigilon Intercom Touch
Also debuting at Intersec is the Avigilon Intercom Touch, a new touchscreen access control intercom that integrates with Avigilon Alta, leveraging AI to focus human attention when response and action are needed. The solution allows users to write rules to detect key events, including person detection, line crossing, and face matching, and can generate AI alerts when it detects or hears suspicious activity.
“The power of generative AI isn’t just its ability to process data, but its capacity to give security teams more of their most precious resource – time,” said Jehan Wickramasuriya, Senior Vice President, Security & Resilience Software, Motorola Solutions. “We are moving beyond ‘smart’ cameras to ‘anticipatory’ systems. For a refinery or a high-traffic hospital, this means that systems don’t just record a crisis, they provide the natural language insights and communication tools needed to help prevent one.”
HALO Smart Sensor and Noggin’s Cloud-Based Software
Other highlights from the Motorola Solutions stand at Intersec Dubai include the HALO Smart Sensor, an all-in-one intelligent device that combines vape detection, air quality monitoring, gunshot detection, abnormal noise and motion detection, as well as emergency keyword recognition, extending safety while preserving privacy. The showcase also features Noggin’s cloud-based software for business continuity planning, operational resilience, and critical event management, designed to help enterprises better anticipate, prepare for, and respond to incidents. In addition, Motorola Solutions will present new integrations across its safety and security ecosystem, including the connection between VehicleManager Enterprise and Avigilon Unity Video, which enables license plate reads to be displayed alongside live video feeds for improved incident awareness, site protection, and overall safety.
Attendees can experience these innovations and more from Motorola Solutions’ extended safety and security ecosystem, including on-premise and cloud-connected video and access control offerings at stand SA-C11 at Intersec Dubai.
