Kaspersky Expands Cybersecurity Footprint in MENA

Kaspersky saw 20% growth in its Middle East operations in 2024, driven by demand for industrial and critical infrastructure protection. The company is running major projects in six countries, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
A key development was the launch of its first regional Transparency Centre in Riyadh, offering insight into its security practices. Kaspersky also secured a Regional Headquarters Licence in Saudi Arabia, reinforcing its commitment to the market.
Its Kaspersky Industrial Cybersecurity (KICS) platform now protects critical sectors like oil, gas, and utilities—covering entities responsible for 12% of global oil output and 15% of nuclear reactors. KICS, which integrates smoothly into existing systems, has been successfully deployed at MOSGAZ in Moscow.
The firm’s suite includes machine learning anomaly detection, SD-WAN solutions, and combined XDR tools. Support services range from Managed Detection and Response (MDR) to specialized training.
Kaspersky now operates in 200+ countries and earned 91 top rankings in independent tests in 2024, highlighting its evolution into a global industrial cybersecurity leader.
