Cisco to Establish New Cloud Data Center in UAE

Cisco, a global leader in technology solutions for various fields and sectors, recently announced the launch of a new on-premises cloud data center in the United Arab Emirates, according to the Emirates News Agency. It is expected to take place by the middle of 2024. It is a way of serving Duo’s multi-factor authentication and providing a secure access solution. H.E. Dr. Mohammed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cybersecurity for the UAE Government, stated in the article by the Emirates News Agency that the UAE is at the forefront of embracing modern technologies that are shaping the country’s future. As cybersecurity poses a vital element in the transformation, it must be integrated in various sectors to build a secure and a resilient cyber structure, eventually enabling citizens to achieve their goals and businesses to succeed.
