Axis unveils lightweight body worn camera for workplaces
Axis Communications has introduced the AXIS W111 Body Worn Camera, a lightweight wearable camera designed for professionals working in retail, healthcare, transportation and other customer-facing environments where body worn cameras are increasingly used to improve safety and accountability.
Weighing just 99 grams, the new device is built for all-day operation. The camera supports up to 10 hours of continuous recording at 720p (7.5 hours at 1080p), while providing up to 16 hours in standby mode.
The camera features an updated magnetic mounting system designed to keep the device securely attached during daily activities. It captures high-quality video and audio suitable for incident documentation and forensic review, while also supporting live video streaming through AXIS Body Worn Live.

Built on open standards, the AXIS W111 integrates with AXIS Camera Station as well as third-party on-premises and cloud-based video management systems.
