Al Ghurair Centre deploys AI-powered ANPR parking system

Al Ghurair Centre in Dubai is introducing a ticketless parking system based on AI-enabled automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) technology as part of a five-year agreement with Parkin Company.

The project combines established ANPR technology with digital parking management, vehicle access control and enforcement services. The deployment reflects a broader move toward integrated vehicle management systems at major commercial properties, where parking, access and operational management are increasingly handled through a single digital environment.

Under the agreement, Parkin will manage and enhance parking operations at Al Ghurair Centre using its digital parking platform and operational infrastructure.

The new system will identify vehicles through ANPR cameras, removing the need for physical parking tickets and enabling automated entry and exit. A new camera with an integrated screen will also provide drivers with real-time guidance and support.

The system will extend beyond visitor parking. Parkin will manage dedicated parking access for Al Ghurair Centre Residence and Rawabeh commercial tenants, with access restricted to vehicles registered under valid tenancy contracts and assigned parking spaces.

Parkin will also provide enforcement and operational management services designed to optimize parking availability and ensure managed access across the facilities.

Parkin is Dubai’s largest provider of paid public parking facilities and services. At the end of 2025, its portfolio covered approximately 229,000 paid parking spaces, including public parking operated under its concession agreement with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority and developer-owned parking facilities across the emirate.
