Dubai Intensifies Safety and Security Measures in Diesel Sector

The Dubai Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE) has launched rigorous inspection campaigns targeting the gas oil (diesel) sector. This initiative, involving multiple governmental entities, aims to regulate diesel trading and eradicate illegal practices that jeopardize safety and environmental standards.

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of DSCE, emphasized the importance of adhering to UAE specifications to ensure safe trading, transportation, storage, and distribution of diesel. The campaigns focus on eliminating unauthorized practices and ensuring compliance with approved standards to protect public safety and the environment.

HE Ahmad Buti Al Muhairbi, Secretary General of DSCE, and other officials highlighted the cooperation among various government organizations in these efforts. The campaigns also target the liquefied petroleum gas sector, ensuring the highest safety standards are upheld.

This concerted effort underscores Dubai’s commitment to maintaining a secure and environmentally sound energy sector.
