The CNG6F2T4MPB is a 6-port Layer 2 managed switch built for installations where space is limited but power requirements are not. Four RJ45 ports deliver 90W Type 4 PoE each, for a total PoE budget of 360W. Two 1G SFP fiber uplinks provide flexible connectivity over distance, supporting a range of Comnet modules for different fiber types and reach requirements.

Rated for -40°C to +75°C, the switch thrives in conditions where commercial hardware would fail. Redundant DC power inputs protect uptime, while DIN Rail and wall-mount options ease installation across transportation, utility, and security infrastructure. Management features include PoE scheduling, ACLs, VLANs, QoS, HTTPS/SSH, 802.1x authentication, and SNMP/RMON monitoring — everything administrators need to keep networks secure and running.

Maximum Power and Scalability

For greater port density and power capacity, the CNGE10FX2TX8MSBT delivers. This 10-port switch supports 90W PoE on all eight RJ45 ports with a 720W total budget — enough to simultaneously drive a full array of high-draw IP cameras, sensors, digital signage, and other edge devices. Two SFP uplinks support speeds up to 2.5Gbps for ample bandwidth headroom.

A standout feature is its scalable power architecture: deploy with the power supply that fits today’s needs, then expand capacity as requirements grow, without replacing the switch. This approach reduces the total cost of ownership over time. Operating from -40°C to +70°C, it is also developed and manufactured in the USA, achieving BABA, NDAA, and TAA compliance.

Reliability as a Standard

Both switches reflect Comnet’s core commitment to industrial-grade reliability. Products carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty — earned through decades of deploying hardened networking equipment in traffic systems, surveillance networks, power utilities, and critical infrastructure worldwide.

Security is designed in from the start, not added as an afterthought. Encrypted management protocols, port-level authentication, device binding, and ongoing standards compliance ensure that Comnet infrastructure stays protected as threats evolve. Whether securing a transit system, monitoring a power grid, or managing a surveillance network, Comnet’s latest BT PoE switches deliver the performance, protection, and peace of mind mission-critical operators demand — today and for years to come.
