UAE Ministry Partners with Samsung to Launch AI Training Initiative for Youth

The UAE’s Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office, in collaboration with Samsung Gulf Electronics, has unveiled an innovative partnership aimed at boosting AI education among the youth in the UAE.

The partnership will integrate Samsung’s globally recognized Innovation Campus program into the UAE AI Camp 2024, a move that aligns with the UAE’s ambitious AI Strategy 2031. This initiative underscores the importance of public-private partnerships in driving technological advancement and economic growth within the region.

Saqr Binghalib, Executive Director of the UAE AI Office, highlighted that the collaboration signifies a crucial step toward establishing the UAE as a global leader in AI.

He emphasized the value of combining the expertise of both government and private sectors to provide youth with world-class education in artificial intelligence. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to cultivate a generation of AI innovators who will contribute to the UAE’s future.

Samsung Gulf Electronics President DooHee Lee expressed the company’s commitment to empowering youth through education and technology. The Samsung Innovation Campus offers a robust curriculum that includes AI, coding, and emerging technologies, providing participants with hands-on training and mentorship.

This initiative aims to prepare the UAE’s youth for careers in the tech industry, ensuring they are equipped with the skills necessary to thrive in an AI-driven world.
