UAE Cybersecurity Council Enhances Government Cyber Skills through ‘Cyber Sniper’ Initiative

The UAE Cybersecurity Council has successfully completed a new series of specialized courses under the “Cyber Sniper” initiative.

This comprehensive program, launched in partnership with the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) and leading international cybersecurity experts, aims to enhance the cybersecurity capabilities of UAE government employees.

Participants received training in ethical hacking, cybersecurity protocols, and vulnerability testing to prepare them for emerging cyber threats.

Chairman Dr. Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti highlighted the initiative’s role in supporting the UAE’s vision to secure its digital infrastructure by 2031.

“This initiative contributes to building a strong national workforce in the field of cybersecurity, capable of protecting the nation’s critical infrastructure and effectively countering evolving cyber threats,”

The initiative is one of the key pillars in the implementation plan of the Council’s strategy in line with the “We the UAE 2031” vision, to secure the digital infrastructure in the country, support safe digital transformation, and boost the readiness and capabilities of government agencies to confront and thwart emerging cyber threats.
