GISEC Global 2026 expands focus on AI and quantum security

GISEC Global 2026 will introduce a new Cyber First leadership platform and expanded quantum security program as the cybersecurity event returns to Dubai from September 16–18.

GISEC Global 2026 will take place at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai, under the theme “Cyber First: The New Digital Order.” Organizers expect more than 25,000 cybersecurity professionals, over 750 exhibiting brands and 350 speakers from 180 countries.

The 15th edition of the event is also expected to be around 20% larger than last year.

The program reflects the growing role of cybersecurity beyond traditional IT operations, with artificial intelligence, digital sovereignty, nation-state threats and critical infrastructure resilience among the main topics.

Cyber First Leadership Summit added

A new Cyber First Leadership Summit will bring together government officials, national cyber authorities, CISOs and technology executives.

Confirmed speakers include Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, head of the UAE Cyber Security Council; Subra Kumaraswamy, SVP and CISO at Visa; Alex Attumalil, global CISO at Under Armour; and Roeland Delrue, co-founder and COO of Aikido Security.

The event will also introduce a National Defence & Sovereign Cyber Track focused on cybersecurity from a national security perspective.

Quantum security moves up the agenda
The event will introduce a dedicated Quantum Security Summit and a new Global Quantum Drill focused on readiness for the post-quantum era.

Another major addition is the Quantum Security Summit, hosted by the UAE Cyber Security Council and Technology Innovation Institute.

The program includes a Global Quantum Drill, described by organizers as an evolution of the previous Global Cyber Drill and designed to test readiness for the transition to post-quantum security.

Other conference tracks will cover operational technology security, critical infrastructure protection, cyber diplomacy, ethical hacking, AI-powered cyber defense, cloud security and workforce development.

Exhibitors will include Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Huawei, EDGE, CPX Holding, CyberKnight and Spire Solutions, alongside hundreds of other cybersecurity and technology companies.

GISEC Global 2026 is organized by inD, a joint venture between Dubai World Trade Centre and Informa. The event is hosted and endorsed by the UAE Cyber Security Council, Dubai Electronic Security Center, Ministry of Interior and Dubai Police.
