According to the Saudi Gazette report the graduation ceremony, held at the Women’s Training Institute, marked the completion of the eighth batch of female recruits to undergo the programme. Senior officials attended the event, underlining the growing institutional support for women taking on operational roles within the Kingdom’s security sector.
During the course, the recruits received comprehensive theoretical and practical training designed to prepare them for their duties within public security. The programme focused on security regulations, operational procedures and core professional skills required for effective service in the field.
According to the authorities, the initiative aims to enhance operational readiness and professionalism among female security personnel, equipping them to carry out their responsibilities efficiently and in line with national security standards.
The graduation reflects Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to expand women’s roles in public service and traditionally male-dominated sectors. It also aligns with ongoing national reforms that prioritise human capital development and the modernisation of security institutions.
As more women enter frontline and support roles within public security, the move is seen as contributing both to workforce diversification and to the overall strengthening of the Kingdom’s security capabilities.
