Intersec Special: IDIS Presented Complete Security Ecosystem for Retail, Enterprise, Oil and Gas
IDIS, a global provider of video security solutions, presented its latest technologies at Intersec 2025, demonstrating its commitment to innovation in surveillance, business intelligence, and integrated security solutions. With 27 years in the industry, the Korean manufacturer serves six continents, offering a diverse range of products tailored to retail, enterprise, and specialized security applications
One of the key highlights at the IDIS booth was its all-in-one retail solution, which integrates AI-driven video surveillance, business intelligence, and retailer ERP solutions. This approach aims to enhance operational efficiency and security in retail environments by combining surveillance data with business analytics.
The company also introduced its latest Edge AI camera solutions, featuring 2, 5, 6, and 8-megapixel resolutions. These cameras come with built-in video analysis algorithms, enabling real-time threat detection, behavioral analytics, and enhanced monitoring capabilities. Additionally, IDIS presented third-party video analysis solutions, including IronYun which supports facial recognition, license plate recognition, and other video analysis algorithms.
Enterprise-Grade Video Management and Smart Video Walls
For larger-scale security applications, IDIS showcased its Video Management Software (VMS), designed to integrate third-party systems under a single umbrella software. This provides seamless connectivity between different security components, enhancing efficiency for businesses managing multiple security layers. Complementing this, the IDIS Video Wall Solution (IWS) offers a smart video wall system, which is suitable for medium to large-scale and enterprise-level projects and applications.
Specialized Industrial Surveillance Solutions
A notable segment of IDIS’s Intersec display was dedicated to fire safety and extreme environment surveillance. The company featured explosion-proof cameras, which are designed for oil, gas and petrochemical applications. It also presented UV and UHD cameras, which are specifically developed for hazardous environments. Additionally, IDIS showcased thermal cameras embedded with technology that can measure heat and temperature levels in the environment.
IDIS also introduced its IP speakers, which can be mixed and matched with its IP cameras for integrated security solutions.
A Unified Security and Communication Platform
Another highlight was IDIS PowerTel, an Android-based telecommunications device that includes both hardware and software solutions. This addition to the IDIS portfolio underscores the company’s effort to provide comprehensive security ecosystems that merge video, audio, and communication technologies.
