Genetec access control solutions receive ANSSI cybersecurity certification
Genetec has announced that its Security Center Synergis access control platform and Synergis Cloud Link intelligent IoT gateway have received the First-Level Security Certification (CSPN) from the French National Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI).
The certification confirms that the solutions meet the Agency’s updated 2025 cybersecurity requirements, which introduce stricter standards for secure communications, protection against logical attacks, and advanced hardware security. The framework also includes safeguards against relay attacks on contactless credentials and requires proximity verification capabilities.
According to Genetec, the certified solution includes new secure I/O modules developed with STid and uses encrypted communication protocols to strengthen the protection of critical infrastructure and other sensitive facilities.
The company says the certification will help organizations comply with French and European cybersecurity regulations while supporting readiness for frameworks such as the NIS2 Directive and the Cyber Resilience Act.
“Genetec is globally recognized for its cybersecure solutions. This ANSSI certification in France further demonstrates our commitment to meeting the highest cybersecurity standards worldwide,” said Cyrille Becker, Managing Director for Genetec EMEA.
