ASSA ABLOY acquires Classic Brass in the US
ASSA ABLOY has acquired US-based Classic Brass, expanding its residential portfolio with premium, made-to-order cabinet and door hardware.
ASSA ABLOY announced the acquisition of Classic Brass Inc., a manufacturer of premium architectural hardware based in Jamestown, New York.
Founded in 1996, Classic Brass produces handcrafted cabinet and door hardware, with a focus on customizable products for architects, designers, builders and homeowners. The company employs around 80 people and operates its main office and manufacturing facility in Jamestown.
Classic Brass recorded sales of approximately USD 17 million in 2025. ASSA ABLOY said the acquisition will be accretive to earnings per share from the start.
The acquisition forms part of ASSA ABLOY’s strategy of strengthening its position in mature markets through complementary additions to its existing product portfolio.
