Axis Communications announces an 8K AI-powered multisensor camera that delivers smooth and cohesive 180° panoramic overviews for complete situational awareness. Enclosed in an electropolished stainless steel casing, it’s made for the toughest conditions.
AXIS Q3839-SPVE Panoramic Camera delivers 29 MP at 30 fps with 180° horizontal coverage and 90° vertical coverage for ultra-clear overviews with no blind spots. Designed for the harshest environments, it comes in a corrosion-resistant stainless steel (EN1.440 SS 316L) casing and can handle temperatures from -50 °C to 55 °C (-58 ºF to 131°F), making it ideal for wide area surveillance in marine environments such as on ships and in harbors. Easy to clean and maintain, it’s also certified by NSF/ANSI to Standard 169 (Special Purpose Food Equipment and Devices) for use in food processing facilities.
This cost-effective device offers the benefits of four cameras for the price of just one. Lossless zoom lets you zoom in without degrading image sharpness—ideal for tracking objects over long distances. In addition, horizon straightening ensures visually balanced images.
With a deep learning processing unit (DLPU), it’s possible to run powerful features and analytics on the edge. For instance, it comes with AXIS Object Analytics preinstalled to detect, classify, track, and count humans and types of vehicles.
This camera can also be paired with an Axis radar device, allowing users to take advantage of AXIS Radar Data Visualizer, a powerful application that enhances the value and functionality of Axis multisensor cameras. Using radar data, this application collects and processes it, then presents it as visual, customizable overlays in the camera feed.
