HID recognized in Saudi digital ID verification
Saudi authorities have recognized HID for its work in digital identity verification as part of the Kingdom’s IoT Adoption Initiative.
HID received the Saudi Arabia IoT Leader in Digital ID Verification recognition from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) and Digital Government Authority (DGA). The recognition was presented during LEAP 2026, annual tech conference held in the Kingdom.

The recognition is part of Saudi Arabia’s IoT Adoption Initiative. HID was recognized for its work in digital identity verification, trusted identity technologies and secure digital experiences across sectors linked to the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives.

IoT deployment expands across Saudi Arabia
According to Saudi authorities, more than 300 public and private-sector organizations have supported the IoT Adoption Initiative. The initiative has helped drive the deployment of more than 40 million connected devices across Saudi Arabia.
The initiative has also contributed approximately $4.5 billion to Saudi Arabia’s GDP.

LEAP draws nearly $15 billion in announcements
The recognition was presented during LEAP 2026, where nearly $15 billion in investments, agreements and partnerships were announced.
The announcements covered artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data centers, technology manufacturing and venture capital.
Saudi Arabia remains a strategic market for HID. Demand for secure and interoperable identity technologies spans government services, digital platforms, financial services, transportation, healthcare, education and critical infrastructure.
