Advancis Releases WinGuard X5 App Version 2.0
The update brings a redesigned mobile interface, improved search and clearer event prioritization for WinGuard users.
Advancis has released version 2.0 of the WinGuard X5 app for iOS and Android, adding a redesigned interface and usability improvements for mobile security operations, the company announced.
The updated app introduces improved search for locations and datapoints, helping users navigate more quickly during security events. Priority is now shown directly on each event, while a redesigned view of state counters provides an overview of datapoint states.
Advancis has also introduced a new native mobile app design, light and dark modes, and more intuitive controls for creating, deleting and copying control operations.
The app provides access to the full data point tree and allows users to execute control commands, monitor connected devices and receive, acknowledge, reset and close events. Users can also trigger user alarms, manage attachments and control operations, display graphics in Locations and Events, track mobile clients within WinGuard and use rights management based on WinGuard user roles.
WinGuard is Advancis’ open integration platform for combining security, building and communication systems within a unified environment. The company describes the platform as a PSIM and security and building management system, with mobile access available through iOS and Android apps.
