Zenitel Unifies Critical Communications in ME

For more than 10 years Zenitel, a provider of security communications solutions, has been operating in the Middle East as two separate entities from Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The Abu Dhabi team focused on ASL Pava technology while the Dubai team primarily worked on intercom technology for onshore applications. They are one of the most successful Zenitel teams worldwide, all due to their impeccable knowledge of the MEA Market needs and their long-term relationships with other key players in the industry.

The two entities, serving customers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other markets in the MEA region, are now being put together under one roof based in Abu Dhabi, with Chenguttuvan Tamilarasan as the leader, ensuring a finished Unified Critical Communications solutions portfolio to the safety and security market in the MEA for Onshore applications.

Lars Paulsson, EVP of Safety & Security at Zenitel, says in a press release by Zenitel that the coordination of various critical one-to-one bi-way communications, usually referred to as Intercom, one-to-one small-scale broadcasting solutions with many versatile IP speakers and one-to-many large-scale IP public address and voice evacuation systems are put together as Unified Critical Communication solutions.

At Zenitel they believe that the market will rely more on a single Unified Critical Communications platform, with all of its security platforms integrated, such as Video Management and Surveillance, Access Control and Building Management Systems. He mentions that the improved integrated solutions will bring improved systems in the hands of the users.

Chenguttuvan Tamilarasan, the General Manager Zenitel Middle East, states that the provision of the complete Zenitel portfolio, which includes the ASL Pava portfolio and the intercom platforms and devices, Zenitel ME strengthens its position at the top of the delivery of Unified Critical Communication solutions to customers.
