Over the past year, Zenitel unified its Abu Dhabi and Dubai operations to strengthen its position in the Middle East and Africa. Introducing the Unified Critical Communication Platform
One of Zenitel’s key highlights at Intersec 2025 was the launch of its unified critical communication platform. This innovation integrates public address, voice alarm, IP intercoms, IP speakers, and help points into a single IP-based system. Historically, public address and voice alarm systems were associated with fire safety, while IP intercoms and IP speakers were more common in security applications. However, Zenitel believes that these technological silos are outdated.
Claerbout explains, “All technology needs to be well connected, well integrated, and we as an audio specialist, bring this all together in one platform.” By eliminating the need for additional integrations, Zenitel provides a seamless system that enhances efficiency, scalability, and safety.
This unified approach allows organizations to cover both small and large areas effectively, using IP intercoms for localized communication and public address systems for larger environments. The result is a cost-effective solution that ensures critical messages reach the right audience at the right time.
New Product Launches and Enhancements
At Intersec 2025, Zenitel introduced its new generation of IP speakers, featuring improved audio capabilities, higher power output, and broader coverage. Additionally, the company unveiled enhancements to its intercom devices, reinforcing its commitment to continuous innovation.

The company also revealed plans for a new cloud platform, which will further enhance scalability and remote management of communication systems. “We spend about 10% of our total revenue on innovation, so we have a significant R&D team”, says Claerbout.
