BOSCH Expands AVENAR IO 4000 Series with New Interface Module
Bosch Building Technologies has expanded its AVENAR IO module 4000 series with the introduction of a new interface module designed to enhance integration across fire detection and building safety systems. The latest addition strengthens Bosch’s approach to creating smarter, more connected fire safety infrastructures in complex buildings.
Interface modules play a critical role in linking fire detection systems with other essential safety components, including fire dampers, signaling devices, and fire doors. By enabling seamless communication between these elements, the modules help ensure that all connected systems respond in a coordinated manner when a fire alarm is triggered, supporting effective evacuation and rapid fire containment.
Bosch’s AVENAR IO module 4000 series is engineered for multi-application use, combining a compact design with smart functionality and high flexibility. This makes the modules easier to plan and install, while allowing system designers and safety managers to adapt solutions to a wide range of building requirements.
The newest member of the series, the FLM-430-I4R2, significantly expands integration possibilities within fire safety systems. As an input/output module, it enables interactive communication between multiple devices and systems from a central control point, ensuring a fast and coordinated response during fire incidents.
Beyond emergency response, the module also supports continuous system monitoring and diagnostics across an entire facility. This allows safety managers to identify potential system interference or pinpoint the source of an incident, all while keeping fire detectors and alarms fully operational. By improving visibility, coordination, and reliability, Bosch’s latest interface module contributes to stronger fire protection, enhanced business continuity, and better protection of critical assets.
