barox Partners up with Amstergi

barox recently announced a new partnership with Amstergi, a lead distributor of video surveillance, access control, and structured cabling distributor in the Middle East, according to a statement by barox.

barox’s unique Device Management System (DMS) network monitoring tool sets it apart for Middle East system integrators and specifiers. The company offers a range of plug-ins for compatibility with popular video management control solutions like Milestone, Genetec, and Geutebrück, with easy integration to barox Ethernet switches.

Barox integration provides enhanced diagnostic data relating to the camera and switch status via the DMS by allowing system integrators to pinpoint network and device issues. It is equipped with many helpful network monitoring functions, faults, and outages, all of which can be diagnosed remotely. Other barox tools, such as PoE monitoring, cable diagnostics and remote switch traffic monitoring, provide a visual presentation on a graphical chart of per port data traffic, thus enabling an analysis of video networks and all connected cameras.

At Intersec 2024, the Amstergi booth presented barox ‘Switches made for Video’ rack mount and DIN rail Ethernet switches, 90W PoE, DMS management, and full integration to Milestone XProtect® Video Management Software.

Rohit Khubchandani, Chief Sales Officer at Amstergi, expressed the company’s enthusiasm for the new partnership. He claims that their visitors at Intersec discovered that barox is the only switch manufacturer to integrate with Milestone, and that Amstergi is the one-stop shop for barox products in the UAE and Qatar. He further emphasized their eagerness to support the barox brand and their many advantages with the range of switches, designed carefully for the demands of video networks in the Middle East.

Luis Coello, EMEA Sales Director at barox claimed that Amstergi’s recognition of barox and its ISO 9001/14001/27001 accreditation show dedication to high-quality, high-end hardware capable of satisfying the needs for reliable, high-performing video transmission, especially in a place with high humidity and extremely high temperatures. He further mentioned their eagerness to support Amstergi customers with barox best-in-class cyber secure switches, aimed to provide the best quality for operators in government agencies, transportation, oil and gas, aviation, retail, and border control.

Rudolf Rohr, barox Co-founder and Managing partner, claims that the partnership with Amstergi is an important step in supporting system integrators with high-quality IP video transmission products in the Middle East and that they are eager to work together with Amstergi on providing excellent customer support and training programs.
