The new company builds upon the Technology Innovation Institute’s (TII) Falcon generative AI models, aiming to excel across different domains. AI71 provides distinctive AI data control, enabling companies and nations to self-host their data as a way of enhancing privacy.

The new AI company was officially launched, among esteemed ministers and representatives from leading multinational technology companies, by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.

It is stated further in the article that ATRC’s VentureOne subsidiary will bring AI71 to various sectors, starting with healthcare, education, and law. It will follow the development of Falcon 7B, 40B, and 180B large language models (LLMs) by ATRC’s Technology Innovation Institute.

AI71 is distinctive from other AI markets by harnessing the UAE’s advanced digital infrastructure which facilitates access to extensive repositories of anonymized data in domains that represent diverse and valuable demographics.
