Aramco Digital, Cumulocity Team up to Scale Industrial AIoT Accorss GCC

The partnership aims to accelerate production-ready industrial AIoT deployments across the Gulf, with an initial fleet management rollout already underway in Saudi Arabia.

Aramco Digital has entered a strategic partnership with Cumulocity to jointly deliver industrial AIoT solutions across the GCC, aiming to accelerate enterprise-scale digital transformation in asset-intensive sectors. According to Zawya, the collaboration combines Cumulocity’s industrial AIoT platform with Aramco Digital’s local solution design, integration and execution capabilities.

The first deployment is already under way, with Aramco Digital implementing Cumulocity as the core platform for an advanced fleet management programme supporting Aramco’s operations in the Kingdom. The rollout is designed to provide real-time visibility and more intelligent management of connected vehicles and industrial assets, helping improve efficiency, reliability and data-led performance.

The agreement is relevant for the wider Gulf security and industrial technology market because it signals further momentum behind AIoT adoption in sectors such as energy, transport, logistics and infrastructure. It also reflects a broader regional shift from pilot projects to production-grade industrial digitalisation, especially where connected assets, operational visibility and lifecycle support are becoming more important. This last point is an inference based on the stated partnership scope and deployment focus.

Nabil Al-Nuaim, CEO of Aramco Digital, said the agreement reinforces the company’s focus on delivering scalable digital platforms that advance industrial transformation across Saudi Arabia and the wider region. Cumulocity CEO Bernd Gross said the partnership would help enable faster and more reliable enterprise-scale deployments across the GCC.
