3rd Cyber Assurance Conference to Focus on Strengthening Qatar Cybersecurity Through Collaboration

Under the esteemed patronage of H.E. Eng. Abdulrahman Ali Al-Farahid Al-Malki, President of the National Cybersecurity Agency, and in conjunction with the launch of the National Cybersecurity Strategy, the Cyber Assurance Department is pleased to announce the 3rd Edition of the Cyber Assurance Conference, scheduled for September 18, 2024, at the St. Regis Doha (Al Qasar).

This year’s conference will emphasize the importance of collaboration across sectors to address and mitigate cybersecurity challenges and risks. It will also serve as a platform to outline Qatar’s cybersecurity future in alignment with the newly introduced National Cybersecurity Strategy.

During the conference, numerous companies and institutions will be recognized for their achievements in Accreditation, as well as for earning National Information Assurance (NIA) and Qatar Common Criteria Scheme (QCCS) Certificates.

The event will feature a series of workshops and panel discussions on critical topics such as the contrast between Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) Security, as well as incident management. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore an exhibition for NCSA partners, showcasing the latest programs and services provided by the Cyber Assurance Department.

The conference will be conducted in Arabic with English translation. Notably, the “NIA Certification” Workshop is intended for both government and private sector organizations, while the “NIA Audit Accreditation” Workshop will be exclusively in English for service providers.

Due to high demand and limited space, registering for the event does not guarantee a spot, and confirmation emails will be sent only to those who receive an official invitation.
