BRAIN Forum Launched by Al Olama at WGS

Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work applications, recently launched the ‘Building Responsible Artificial Intelligence Forum (BRAIN)’, a segment of the World Governments Summit (WGS) 2024 named ‘Shaping Future Governments’. The forum gathered global technology leaders to discuss the future of responsible AI, according to the Emirates News Agency.
He remarked that the WGS serves as a prominent global platform facilitating collaboration between governments, leaders, and decision-makers to form a future with enhanced communication between governments and citizens, as well as prioritize prosperity through integration and collaboration.
Al Olama stated that the WGS brings hope to the world that modern-day challenges will be solved and anticipates significant growth in the artificial intelligence sector which is expected to reach the market value of around $20 billion by 2025, with approximately 97 million people working in the field. He highlighted the importance of governments recognizing the potential of the transformative force.
The World Government Summit 2024 (12th – 14th February) hosts more than 120 interactive sessions and workshops, 15 forums, and features more than 200 speakers. The summit strives to shape the future of policymakers and governments by reviewing the newest global advancements.
