e& UAE embeds Agentic AI into business connectivity

UAE telecom operator e& UAE has integrated Agentic AI into its core business mobile and fixed connectivity plans, combining AI capabilities with secure connectivity and sovereign computing infrastructure.

e& UAE said it is the first telecom provider in the region to embed Agentic AI directly into its core connectivity services, making the technology available through products already used by businesses.

The capability will be included in Business Pro fixed internet services and enterprise fixed-connectivity offerings, including Digital Internet and Digital Premium Internet. Mobile customers will be able to add the AI services to their existing packages.

Agentic AI systems are designed to understand objectives, organize information and carry out connected sequences of tasks under defined controls. e& UAE said the technology can help businesses automate routine processes, manage workflows and respond to requests more efficiently.

Sovereign AI infrastructure

The offering is supported by e& UAE’s Sovereign AI Compute, which provides access to UAE-based GPU capacity alongside secure, high-performance connectivity. The infrastructure is intended to support the development, testing, training and deployment of AI applications while keeping sensitive data within national borders.

Sovereign AI Compute was launched in July through a partnership between e& UAE and Core42, combining Core42’s Sovereign AI Cloud with e& UAE’s connectivity and digital infrastructure. The platform targets enterprise and government customers requiring locally hosted AI infrastructure and secure access to GPU resources.

The launch comes as AI is expected to play an increasingly important role in the UAE economy. PwC has estimated that AI could contribute nearly 14 percent of the country’s GDP, or around US$96 billion, by 2030. This aligns with the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, which identifies AI as a driver of economic diversification, innovation and government transformation.

e& UAE said the integrated approach is intended to reduce infrastructure, security and technical barriers to AI adoption, allowing organizations to begin with embedded AI services and scale into sovereign computing, cloud and security capabilities as their requirements grow.
