XPR Group Presents Xpro Series: Access Control that Combines Style and Intelligence

Blending advanced technology with sleek design, XPR Group’s new Xpro reader range delivers intelligent, robust, and versatile access control solutions for modern indoor and outdoor environments.
XPR Group, a leading provider of access control solutions for almost 40 years, officially announces the launch of its new range of readers called Xpro. The range has become available on its new dedicated website.
Designed to go far beyond standard expectations, the Xpro readers combine cutting-edge technology, elegant design, and installation flexibility to provide the ideal solution for modern indoor and outdoor installations.
“With the Xpro readers, our aim was not just to create devices that work well, but to develop a range that blends seamlessly into contemporary environments while offering advanced technical intelligence,” says Nicolas von Oberndorff, Product Director at XPR Group.
A compact and versatile range
The Xpro range includes three models sharing a common design, each adapted to different installation requirements. The XP-K combines an RFID reader with a backlit keypad, making it ideal for dual authentication systems. The XP and XPM are both RFID readers, with different housings: the XP features a universal single gang standard-size housing with a sleek design, while the XPM offers a slimmer, mullion-style format for easy integration in tight spaces such as narrow door frames.
Technical performance designed for reliability
All Xpro readers are compatible with MIFARE cards (13.56 MHz) and support communication protocols such as RS-485, OSDP, and Wiegand, ensuring seamless integration across a wide range of technical environments.
They are easily configured via a USB-C port or using the PROX-USB-X programming card, and benefit from XPR’s free Product Manager software for setup and updates.
Built to last, the Xpro readers meet IK10 / IK11 standards for impact resistance and are IP65 certified for optimum protection against dust and moisture.
They are also suitable for extreme conditions, with an operating temperature range from -30°C to +65°C.
With the Xpro range, XPR Group reaffirms its commitment to providing products that are not only intelligent and robust, but also aesthetically integrated, meeting the growing market demands in terms of security, reliability, and architectural integration.
