MOBOTIX Secures EN 54-10 Certification for New M73 Thermal Bundle

High-Performance Early Fire Detection with Enhanced Precision and Cybersecurity

MOBOTIX has achieved EN 54-10 certification for its updated M73 Thermal Bundle, marking an important step in certified early fire detection solutions for industrial and critical environments. The certification confirms full compliance with European standards for flame detector–based fire detection systems and the EU Construction Products Regulation.

The newly certified bundle introduces a 95-degree VGA thermal sensor, replacing the previous 90-degree model at the same price. The upgrade delivers higher performance through a wider field of view, improved thermal sensitivity, and faster image capture, enabling earlier and more reliable detection of heat anomalies. Operating independently of smoke, dust, or poor visibility, the solution is suited for demanding settings such as waste management sites, energy facilities, logistics halls, and outdoor installations.

The M73 Thermal Bundle supports multiple configurable measurement windows and integrates directly with existing fire alarm systems using certified power and interface components. An optional 4K optical sensor can be added for visual verification and documentation of alarm events. All hardware and software elements are fully tested under EN 54-10 requirements and are manufactured in Germany, backed by a five-year warranty.

With this certification, MOBOTIX strengthens its position in the thermal fire detection segment, offering planners, integrators, and operators a certified solution focused on early detection, system reliability, and operational safety.
