KIB Lauches Zwipe Based Biometric Card
Kuwait International Bank (KIB) has become the first bank worldwide to commercially launch biometric payment cards based on Zwipe’s platform. These innovative cards will be offered to the bank’s elite VIP clients as part of the Visa Infinite Black product.
Under the collaboration, Zwipe will deliver its Zwipe Pay solution for biometric payment cards, approved by Visa. The cards will be produced by Inkript, one of Zwipe’s regional partners. The introduction of the biometric cards allows KIB’s Black Banking segment customers to enjoy the convenience and security of fingerprint-activated POS transactions, enhancing their banking experience. The card aligns with the bank’s new authentication system and offers a range of premium banking benefits and exclusive rewards.
