Group-IB and VAS Integrated Solutions Sign MoU to Expand Cybersecurity Cooperation in Saudi Arabia

Cybersecurity firm Group-IB and value-added distributor VAS Integrated Solutions have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore strategic cooperation and channel-led expansion opportunities across Saudi Arabia. The development was announced in an official press release issued by the two companies.

The agreement establishes a framework for collaboration focused on knowledge sharing, innovation, and the delivery of cybersecurity solutions to address the Kingdom’s rapidly evolving digital threat landscape. It also supports broader efforts to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s cybersecurity ecosystem through local partnerships and market development initiatives.

The MoU was signed by Mohammad Flaifel, Regional Sales Director for KSA and Türkiye at Group-IB, and Bilal Abdulrahman, Country Manager for KSA and the GCC at VAS Integrated Solutions, on the sidelines of Black Hat MEA.

The cooperation centres on joint market development, partner enablement, and awareness programmes, underpinned by Group-IB’s adversary-centric, predictive approach to cyber threat and fraud intelligence. Through its Digital Crime Resistance Center model, Group-IB combines regional expertise in the Middle East and Africa with global threat intelligence and investigative capabilities, enabling organisations to anticipate and respond to complex cyber and fraud threats with local context.

By leveraging VAS Integrated Solutions’ local ecosystem, partner network, and market reach, the collaboration aims to support the effective delivery of these capabilities to organisations across the Kingdom, contributing to improved cybersecurity resilience in line with Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation priorities.

In addition to commercial activities, the agreement emphasizes cybersecurity awareness and education. The scope includes the development of educational resources, joint webinars, workshop,s and training sessions for industry professionals, as well as potential participation in advisory initiatives focused on elevating cybersecurity awareness at a national level.
